Get a Grip
For all its good / cool points (and good / cool people!), you know what I truly hate about Tumblr? I hate the pervasive atmosphere of holier-than-thou gotta-walk-on-egg-shells PC bullshit. Not everything is racist. Not everything is discriminatory. Not everyone is smart or attractive or even a decent human being. People aren’t special little darlings that no one can say anything bad about....

Yet Another Spelling Test
Heroin: A very addictive, very dangerous street drug. VS Heroine: A female hero; The feminine form of the English word “hero”. Now that you know the difference, please stop misspelling / misusing these words. Thanks.

Attention Tumblrs!
You may not know this about me, but I’m a freelance writer… and a good one, if I do say so myself. ;) It occurred to me that there might be a lot of you here who don’t like to write, or can’t (hey, there’s no shame in that, I can’t do math to save my life, beyond the basics of course). With that in mind, I’ve decided to offer my services. I’m quick,...

Sunny Side Up
No, this isn’t about the method of egg-cookery (though I DO want to learn how to make them like that)… it’s about the ladies, uh-huh. haha Specifically, it’s about the fact that there’s just something about a girl in a well-filled sun dress. It’s attractive physically, which is definitely a plus lol, but idk… girls who wear them always seem to be smiling...

Attention Females! I Need Your Help!
I would love to grow my hair long, but it’s suuuuuper thick and wavy / curly after it starts to grow. It smothers my scalp, and I end up getting really flaky and it all just gets super hard to keep clean, no matter how often I shower. So my question is… how do you guys do it? lol Thanks for your help, and have a good day. :)

Anonymous asked: Why do you think that in relationship the man gets the last word to make a decision. You said only one person should make the last decision, but why can't it be the woman?

Anonymous asked: "Most of you can’t cook, you don’t read, you have about as much personality as a bar stool" So you think most men cook, read, and have good personalities? And since when is a women obligated to cook? I agree with all the other things you said except for this part.

Enough Already!
Nuclear weapons are bad no matter who has them. It doesn’t matter if it’s Iran or N. Korea or America or Pakistan or anyone else - if someone drops a nuke, we’re all boned.  Hiroshima & Nagasaki were bad, but you know what? The nukes we have today make those look like sparklers at a little kid’s birthday party. We literally have the power to wipe out not only every...

I know I throw a lot of stuff up here about politics and (anti-)feminism and religion and everything else that runs through my brain, but before I go to sleep, I just want to pause and say that I love my followers and the people I follow. You guys are what make Tumblr a nice place to hang out. So, you know, thanks or whatever. haha Have a lovely night everyone. See you tomorrow.

good-gollymissmolly: He is legitimately my personal hero. I don’t like to use the term “martyr” for people, because it’s overblown nowadays, just like “American hero” or other similar expressions, but Bradley Manning, Julian Assange, and the whole Wikileaks crew, not to mention Anonymous, deserve the title. Only people (or governments) with something to hide...

Tumblr Staff: A New Policy Against Self-Harm Blogs →

People being people, though, that means that Tumblr sometimes gets used for things that are just wrong.
