"Most of you can’t cook, you don’t read, you have about as much personality as a bar stool" So you think most men cook, read, and have good personalities? And since when is a women obligated to cook? I agree with all the other things you said except for this part.
Anon, I took that article as a personal insult. They say - in a cowardly, backhanded way, mind you - that I (and every other man) am a rapist, out to hurt anyone and everyone I come in contact with. That’s simply not true, and it both saddens and infuriates me that there are women who whisper this kind of lie into the ears of other women, especially the young and impressionable ones who will, as a result, grow up to hate and fear men for no reason.
What is meant by that phrase you asked about is that if women who thought like those idiots do spent more time learning how to be useful, worthwhile human beings, and real women with depth and something to offer the world, they’d have less time for the kind of garbage spewed forth in that article.
I’ve never been shy that I am a fan of traditional gender roles. If a man works to support and lead his family, the woman he’s with is obligated to hold up her end by doing the domestic stuff. But why look at it as obligation? It should be done out of love on both sides. A relationship built on “I do this because I have to” won’t last very long.
I’m glad you agree with me though, even if it’s only in part. Have a nice day! :)
